The 20th Festival of Lights in Berlin Is This Year All About Freedom
From October 4th to October 13th, central Berlin will be transformed into a spectacle of colors as the Festival of Lights turns on the light show for the 20th time.
This year, the Festival of Lights celebrates freedom because 2024 is also the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
City landmarks are transformed into large canvases for incredible animated light shows. The TV Tower, the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, the Berlin Cathedral, the skyscrapers at Potsdamer Platz and many other locations.
