Looking for a place to cool off with your kids? The water playground in Weinbergspark is perfect for splashing around while you enjoy a picnic
Summer in Berlin can get so hot that you just want to relax. If you have children, pack a picnic and visit the water playground in Weinbergspark. It’s a great way to have fun and it’s completely free.
Just steps from Rosenthaler Platz, Weinbergspark features rolling hills, a restaurant, expansive lawns, shaded areas beneath trees, a traditional playground, and a water playground.

The water playground is located halfway up the hill and features several fountains that turn on in rotation. The water provides a refreshing spray when the sun is high in the sky and the city is sweltering.
The water playground may be small, but on hot summer days, Berliners with children gather around the fountains to cool down and enjoy the refreshing splash.
It’s not only children who delight in the cool water splashes. Teenagers and adults also enjoy standing beneath the droplets, savoring the refreshing soak.
