Berlin Dungeon is an interactive theater with laughs and jump scares, with actors engaging the audience. It explores the spooky side of Prussia’s Berlin
Berlin Dungeon is a lot of fun if you don’t mind being the center of attention. The show is like a tour through different rooms, where an actor picks people from the audience to join the performance.
That said, the Berlin Dungeon begins with you taking the elevator of doom down into a torture chamber, where an executioner demonstrates his instruments of pain on a member of the audience.
And then it’s off we go with laughter, thrills, and jump scares. You’ll be introduced to ghosts, witches, and the Black Death. And you won’t know whether it’s you or your partner who suddenly finds themselves in the spotlight with the actor on stage.

The scenes take place in small rooms, where an actor performs a spooky caricature of a part of Berlin’s history from Prussia, with the noble Hohenzollern family at its center.
Berlin Dungeon is one of the main attractions near Alexanderplatz, but it is not for everyone. It can be scary and creepy, so it is not suitable for children under 10 or anyone who is afraid of the dark or gets nightmares easily.

You can’t hardly avoid getting involved. You might become the captain of the escape through secret tunnels, be accused of witchcraft, or even worse: be accused of murdering Berlin’s fashion.
I brought my nine-year-old, who already has a morbid sense of humor and loves ghost stories. Although she was also cast in a leading role in one of the rooms, she did her part with brilliance. And she had a great time the whole way through.
I hope you get that too.
