When I was a child, we used to get passport photos taken in photo booths. As I got older, they were replaced by digital photography, which you can have done at photo shops and convenience stores.
In Berlin, however, the photo booth has returned to the streets, and there’s something particularly enjoyable about having the flash go off in your face four times and waiting five minutes for the selfies to be developed.

Some photo booths produce black-and-white photos, while others produce color photos.
What’s more, the booths have been updated so you don’t need small change to pay for your photos. You can pay by card while you sit behind the curtain and get ready to strike a pose.
The photo booths are located throughout downtown Berlin. Use the map to located them.
